We’re kicking off spring at Knowla with news that will soon be coming to your devices. All you have to do is complete these simple steps:
- Dust off the Knowla Box and Knowla Wall after a winter’s sleep and put them to work.
- Connect the Knowla device to the Internet.
- Agree with the update.
- Wait a while for everything to download and install.
- Enjoy new opportunities with Knowla!
Remember that updates are extremely important because they give you access to the latest versions of applications. So you can be sure that they will work flawlessly and with all the conveniences.

Do you want to use Knowla.fun or Knowla.edu?
We have introduced a division into Knowla.edu and Knowla.fun on our website and Knowla devices.
Each time you start the Knowla device, you will see a choice of modes: Knowla.fun or Knowla.edu. Click the button on the right or left to switch to the preferred mode.
In the Knowla.edu mode, we try to convey knowledge and skills in it through play, making it more accessible to children. It features all the planets of the Education Universe and two starting planets: Planet Fruu and Planet EduMini.
A new Knowla.fun offering was recently launched, focusing primarily on fun ball games and encouraging children to be physically active. There are 25 starter games and a paid Green Creatures Game Set.

Remember to connect to the internet and keep your device updated
This is extremely important to us, because then we are sure that you have access to all the news and improvements.
If the Knowla device is not connected for a long time, when it is turned on, a window will pop up asking you to select a network and enter a password. The window can be closed, but it will pop up again after a month.
You will also be able to connect to the Internet on your own, without leaving the Knowla app. Just click the red no WiFi icon in the upper right corner.
In addition, we have eliminated various problems that occurred when downloading and installing the news.
Provide your Knowla device with an Internet connection at least once a month to make sure it is fully operational.
More interactive play area on Knowla Box – BETA version
Until now, we have recommended that the Knowla Box be placed as close to the wall as possible to take full advantage of the device’s potential. From now on, the Knowla Box will be able to display images with a larger diagonal and with the full pool of available interactions: keyboard with touchpad, interactive pens and balls.
Such an option will be great for a variety of events and celebrations. The presentation at conferences or the lyrics of a song at a karaoke event will be visible even from across the room. But let’s not forget about interactions, because with a larger image, we are able to invite a larger group of people to play games and Knowla applications together.
By moving the Knowla Box away from the wall, you can get a larger diagonal projected image from 85 inches to up to 150 inches!
It is only necessary to take care of the sharpness of the image and calibrate the balls in the Knowla application settings. Pen interactions will only work up to 100 inches.
Remote control of Knowla devices – Knowla Remote – BETA version
Downloadable to your Android, Windows or iOS device is the Knowla Remote app, which will allow you to connect online to your Knowla device and:
- remotely control Knowla devices
- share the screen view of your computer (for now only on Windows)
- stream video from the camera
- transmit microphone sound
This will allow remote lessons to be conducted using Knowla devices. The instructor no longer needs to be in the same room to keep an eye on the students’ work. In addition, he or she can control play or switch tasks without having to go to the device. This will also make it easier to quickly present one’s own materials or presentations on Knowla devices. And even showing faintly visible results of experiments using the phone’s camera on the big screen!
The option to take control on your computer allows you to control the Knowla device’s screen using your computer’s keyboard and mouse.
The share your screen option on your computer allows you to present content from your computer without connecting it via HDMI or transferring files by other means. It also allows you to control the image from both your computer and Knowla device.
The take control option on phones and tablets allows you to control your Knowla device from your phone or tablet and has 2 possible forms: screen control and touchpad control. It also includes a pop-up keyboard.
In all options, you will be able to connect with your camera and microphone to the Knowla device.

Other updates
- Improved precision in detecting ball strikes.
- Eliminate activity loading jamming problems.
- Informing you to download the latest version of the planetary manual.
- Visual improvements to application downloads and instructions.
- Changes to the way serial numbers are generated for installing Knowla on a Windows device.
- Enter the Knowla application for information on system changes. The window can be found in Settings after pressing the question mark button next to the system version number (lower left corner of the screen). The information will only be available in English.
